The path to adulthood has changed
I help young adults navigate this season, and I equip parents and churches to become better guides for those living through it.
The Middle of Becoming: Why This Matters
Long before many young adults marry or start families, they are already forming the habits, relationships, communities, and faith that will shape the rest of their lives.
Because traditional milestones now often come much later than in previous generations, the years between adolescence and settled adulthood have become one of life's most formative seasons. Recognizing how this season has changed encourages us to stop assuming they simply need to "grow up" and instead ask how we can better walk alongside them.
Ultimately, understanding young adulthood doesn't simply give us better answers; it helps us become better guides.
Ways We Can Work Together
Speaking
Help your church better understand today's young adults. For churches, conferences, ministry teams, leadership gatherings, and retreats.
I partner with churches, ministries, and organizations to equip leaders to better understand today's journey into adulthood. My talks combine developmental research, Christian theology, ministry experience, and practical application to help churches disciple, mentor, and invest in young adults with greater wisdom.
Counseling
Navigate young adulthood—or parenting a young adult—with greater clarity. For young adults and parents of young adults.
I work with young adults navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, calling, faith, and life's major transitions. I also work with parents who want to better understand their adult children, strengthen their relationship, and learn how to support them without continuing to manage them.
Writing
Explore the ideas shaping today's path into adulthood. For young adults, parents, pastors, counselors, and anyone passionate about the next generation.
Through essays and articles, I explore the intersection of developmental psychology, Christian theology, and lived experience to help readers better understand one of life's most formative seasons.
Why I Do This Work
Looking back at my twenties, life constantly invited me to begin again through new cities, communities, and directions.
Over time, I realized God wasn't simply changing my plans, but rather He was clarifying my calling. As I served in ministry and mentored young adults, I saw how profoundly this season was shaping the people they were becoming.
Today, what began as an attempt to make sense of my own journey is expressed through counseling, speaking, and writing to help others navigate theirs.
